Snails, Slugs, Octopuses, Clams, Oysters, and Squid are the main animals/organisms that belong to this phyla. In the Phylas Mollusca, the animals have bilateral symmetry. Mollusks can reproduce both sexually and asexually. Mollusks have a thin layer of tissue called the mantle, which covers the organisms organs. In most Mollusks there is an open circulatory system, meaning the heart moves blood into open spaces. Digested waste becomes solid waste which is then turned into solid waste and pushed out through the anus. I find it interesting that there are over 100,00 species of mollusks.
