This phylum contains species that are found exclusively in freshwater, and marine environments. The phyla contains many species of jellyfish and many coral living animals. These animals have radial symmetry. They can reproduce both sexually and asexually. A polyp is anchored to the ground, also known as sessile, and a medusa is a swimming jellyfish. They use their tentacles to bring in food towards their mouth. I find it interesting that the jellyfishes use their tentacles to bring in food.
